Experimental split-factorial experiment in the form of a randomized complete block design with four replications was conducted at Hashemabad Cotton Research Station from 1398 for two years.
In this study, the main factor including planting date: 1 first crop (treditional) 2 second crop (post-wheat cultivation), factorial sub-factor including cultivars of 1 Hekmat 2 Latif 3 Shayan 4 SNK847 with three distances between plants 10, 20 and 30 cm was considered. Sowing was done based on row spacing of 80 cm and consumption of 40 kg of seeds per hectare. Thinning operation was performed one week after emergence according to the distance between plants.
The interaction effect of planting date and cultivar, different distances between plants on mean total yield was significant.
The mean seed cotton yield of SNK847 cultivar on the first and second planting dates was 2601 and 1734 kg / ha, respectively, which was significantly superior to other treatments.
